OUR STORY
We're a family of 1st Generation Ranchers growing for the Future.
Sonoran Blonde Ranch & Mercantile started with a pretty simple idea: build a life that felt a little more honest, a little more connected, and a whole lot closer to the land.
Out here in southern Arizona, our days are usually a mix of goats, burros, kids, sourdough, garden plans, half-finished projects, and whatever else the ranch throws at us.
What started small has slowly grown into something that feels like its own little world.
We raise Nigerian Dwarf goats, work with wild burros, bake cottage foods from our ranch kitchen, make small-batch goods, grow what we can, and open the ranch for experiences like baby goat yoga and seasonal events.
Most of what we do comes from the same place: making things with our hands, using what we have, and creating something people can actually feel connected to.
The “Mercantile” part of our name came naturally because I never wanted this to be just one thing. Some days I’m baking bread before sunrise. Other days I’m trimming hooves, bottle-feeding babies, working with the burros, planting something new, or dreaming up the next ranch event.
Thanks for being here and being part of it.
